MEET: ERIC NATHANIEL FUHS (RIDESHARE DRIVER)
Meet Eric Nathaniel Fuhs, a Finance graduate from San Diego State University who navigates the streets of Los Angeles as a dedicated rideshare driver. While safely transporting passengers throughout the city, Eric is simultaneously pursuing his aspirations in the television industry.
6 QUESTIONS WITH ERIC NATHANIEL FUHS
1. What inspired you to become a rideshare driver?
I’ve always enjoyed driving since I got my driver license at 16. I drove cross-country twice in my 20s, and I’ve been very social since I was a teenager. Rideshare was a good way for me to gain some extra money whilst getting to make my own schedule and use my own vehicle.
2. Can you share a rideshare trip that had a positive impact on you or the rider?
I can’t think of one specifically. Making sure drunk people that went out on Friday/Saturday nights didn’t drive drunk was very fulfilling for me.

3. What were some of the biggest challenges you faced as a rideshare driver in Los Angeles, and how did you overcome them?
I’m currently just a Lyft driver. When I was an Uber driver, and this is going to be vague for policy reasons, I had to file a police report at 3:00 AM in the morning because a man was hyping himself up to me and would not leave my vehicle for about 10 minutes after we got to his destination; so that was hard. I also had to kick out a famous person from an Uber ride because he and a woman he was with were being extremely rude. I did not know the famous person I kicked out was famous at the time. I found out a couple of days later.
4. If you could ask every passenger one question, what would it be?
"Is this such and such address the address you’re going to?" That question is like Rideshare 101.
5. What's next for you, and what role does ridesharing play in that journey?
Next for me? I used to be an OnlyFans model and I've tried to get into television with casting applications, including one for, “The Bachelorette.” I have enjoyed trying to meet "local to Los Angeles celebs" as well as get healthily acclimated to taking the next step in getting my good image out to the public. I’m a Good Samaritan fighting on the right side of history, and really want to get more attention for being that.
6. What is your favorite place to visit in Los Angeles?
I can name a couple. Beverly Hills and near Manhattan Beach are nice places. I enjoy the upscale environments and the feelings the people living there give off.
