Literati Events presents the abhorrum masquerade, a celebration of mad science, eldritch knowledge and cosmic horror. Live music and stage performances run all night inside the Santa Monica Bay Woman's Club. The evening puts the strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on trial. Guests weigh the evidence as the night unfolds. You decide whether that knowledge is released, kept secret, or destroyed. Costume is the point, so dress for the ball. The H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society and the LA Poet Society join as partners. Early bird tickets run through September 15.
