ÆFFECT RADIO is a Los Angeles-based community station showcasing the many facets of the city’s underground. Eclectic by nature and drawn to the left-field, its programming moves across genres, scenes, and generations. At its core, ÆFFECT is an open, unpretentious space for experimentation and self-expression. Every other Monday, Æ broadcasts live on Twitch, bringing special guest artists from around the world together with resident selectors Codiac, Songco, and Infinity Edge. To celebrate 16 years, Æ is stepping out of the studio and into The Airliner, a venue deeply rooted in Los Angeles music history and long associated with the legendary event series Low End Theory. Now revamped with a new space and Hi-Fi sound system, the venue provides the setting for this year’s anniversary. As a virtuosic mixing DJ, Wheez-ie is known for hitting his flow state by masterfully controlling chaos, wit
