Cabra, located in downtown LA, is one of Los Angeles' more trendy restaurants and provides an exquisite rooftop dining experience. With a menu heavily inspired by the vibrant flavors of Peruvian Cuisine, this space offers delicious food in a colorful, lively setting that includes gorgeous panoramic views of the Downtown Los Angeles skyline. Opposite the dining room, the sun-soaked bar and patio offer lounge seating dotted with greenery as an oasis available for private events and parties. Another one of LA's finest farm-to-plate eateries, Salt’s Cure first opened in 2010 in West Hollywood with a focus on whole animal butchery and locally sourced ingredients fresh from the farmer’s market. Much like Hatchet Hall, this restaurant is focused on providing cuisine that is friendly to the environment and creates a more rustic atmosphere. We highly recommend trying their iconic oatmeal griddle cakes, their hearty grain bowl, and any one of their wonderful messy sandwiches.
All Day Baby
3200 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles

All Day Baby is one of those rare restaurants where comfort food comes to genuinely thrive. The menu and atmosphere are both highly influenced by the owner's childhood in the American south and have the flair of SoCal-Mexican cuisine. In 2022, the owners introduced "Tet-a-Tet", a modern Vietnamese menu by way of a Latin lens, and it is currently served on both their brunch and dinner menu.

The Rose Venice

The Rose Venice has been serving locals and travelers alike since 1979 - and in more ways than one. As a hotel housing a restaurant, the Rose's venue provides a breezy and relaxed atmosphere with eye-catching scenery. Perhaps one of its most engaging features is the open kitchen, allowing guests to watch their food being prepared, which provides for some great table chatter in the process. While their cuisine is, for the most part, organic and ingredients are locally-sourced, their Peruvian Bay scallops on a half-shell come highly recommended to guests. Reservations are strongly encouraged, but some walk-in space is always available.

As one of many seafood restaurants in LA, Great White stands out for its diverse menu that caters to various dietary needs, as well as their fresh and sustainably-sourced seafood. Court café is, quite literally, one of the best brunch spot in LA. Having been established in 2019 by Jermelle Henderson, the owner of Taco Mell, and Calvin Johnson, the owner of Bleu Kitchen, this beloved staple of the Los Angeles food scene was birthed by two strong culinary personalities behind it. Their menu features a quite wide range of delicious and unique brunch options ranging from sweet to salty, with large portions being the norm. They are particular known for their fruited butters that compliment their pancake and waffle meals.

Cobi's is a living celebration of Asian street food — Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Indian, and much more! This spot has a particular talent for infusing traditional American breakfast meals with the tastes of asian cuisine. The BLT Banh Mi for example, which is featured on their brunch menu, takes a traditional American meal (BLT), and stuffs it with crispy pork belly, sambal aioli, bibb lettuce, tomato, all rested in a french Baguette, and topped with a fried egg. 609 Broadway, Santa Monica

Blue Daisy Café first opened in 2011 in Santa Monica on Wilshire location, and quickly became very popular amongst the neighborhood and the whole of LA in general. After moving to a bigger and better location, the restaurant gained further popularity for its delicious organic breakfast items, with the crepes being a favorite.
All the sauces and dressings are freshly made from scratch. Their beverages are not to be missed either, with organic fresh brewed Italian Coffee and espresso, their signature Bloody Mary, Mimosa, and a diverse wine selection.
101 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica

FIG, an American bistro, is known for its refined menu and simultaneous rural atmosphere. Located at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, the owners are committed to providing fresh and sustainable cuisine that changes with season. Their ingredients are locally sourced, and rarely from outside the Southern California area. They also purchase from combers at the farmers market who search the coast for menu items that are typically difficult to find.

Urth Caffé, founded in 1989 on the mission to produce organic foods and beverages through sustainability practices. After learning of some of the destructive coffee making practices in Peru, the owners made it their goal to produce safe-to-drink coffee that is not harmful to the environment. They also offer a variety of delicious food items such as salads and sandwiches in addition to their diverse style cuisine; the huevos rancheros are a classic local favorite.

Bru's Wiffle is known for it's unique approach to breakfast. Bru has a serious talent for taking waffles and making them pair well with anything - and we mean ANYTHING. With a range of breakfast & lunch dishes, their menu is massive with loads of choices to pick from! To top it all off, they also manage to cater to various dietary needs. All in all, this is a pretty rocking waffle house, and you don't want to miss it.
2807 Main St, Santa Monica
Brunch Hours: Daily 3PM to 6PM
This spot sure came in handy during the COVID-19 pandemic. All seating is outdoors and allows guests to order their meals by means of safe distancing (at the window), and having their food served directly to them - against typical fast food fashion. Their beach-close craft beer and wine are definitely something to be tried, in addition to the Prosecco and Main St. Turkey burger. Also - they love pets, so bring them! They love pets so much that they have a menu specifically for your furry friend - if she or he's a dog.
Ella Beverly Hills
9360 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills

Located at the hotel’s street-level corner of Wilshire Blvd. and S. Crescent Drive, Ella Beverly hill, amidst a pretty elegant setting, serves a bold mix of Mediterranean, Asian and Italian flavors with a variety of locally sourced ingredients. It also features a lively cocktail menu that is celebratory of LA's culture and history, as well as a fair range of organic traditional wines.

With its stunning international tastes, Elephante, in the true spirit of LA, effectively brings the cuisine of the Southern Mediterranean with some coastal Italian influences to its guests; the Driver Scallops in particular are a must-try menu item. Also, because it wouldn't be a true within-proximity-of-the-beach restaurant without a killer view of the ocean, they do indeed have that, and it will completely entrap your focus - at least until the food comes.
Little Prince LA + Bottleshop

As has been noted of numerous Los Angeles dining spaces, Little Prince LA prepares its food with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients from along the California coast. With a playful atmosphere and native menu, this brunch spot is one that will make you feel right at home in LA. Known particularly for its produce-forward breakfast and brunch cuisine, their menu offers a range of delicious beverages and meals including their herbaceous cocktails, farmers market seasonal specials, and the highly recommended Nine Grain pancake with market preserves.
1220 Hermosa Ave, Hermosa Beach

Ryla is one of the more hidden gems in LA that many people don't know about - but they definitely should! Located in Hermosa Beach, this spot not only provides a cozy setting with fantastic service but infuses its dishes with a delicious Japanese flare and immense creativity. Their milk bread in particular puts other milk bread to shame with its soft shiny texture and perfectly balanced sweet flavor.
E.P. & L.P.
603 N La Cienega Blvd, West Hollywood
Brunch Hours: Weekends 11:30AM-2:30PM
E.P. & L.P. is one of the easier-to-access brunch spots during a trip to LA because it sits right in the heart of West Hollywood. Short for extended play and long play (named after the 12” and 7” vinyl records at E.P. & L.P.), you can probably guess that they are probably a more energetic setting for brunch - and you're right. They hold the philosophy that the fun shouldn't stop when the meal's over, but that it should go on all night! Complete with a rooftop and theater, this space not only provides for a great meal experience but a fun energetic one as well. Of course, because they are a one-stop food and drink destination, they do have happy hours from Monday to Friday, 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Their menu, which has a southeast Asian flair, provides Caviar seaweed snacks, which you absolutely must try if you enjoy treating yourself. Be sure to bring your ID if you plan. to visit the L.P. rooftop, which requires that guests be 21 and up.
8948 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069
Brunch Hours: Weekends 11AM-2AM
Another one of West Hollywood's finest brunch spots! Known for its upscale comfort food and various celebrity frequents (ahem), you definitely don't want to miss grabbing an early afternoon meal here. It also happens to be owned by television personality Lisa Vanderpump of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - so there's that; but seriously, the comfort food here is genuinely comforting. The truffle fries are a delicious and satisfying meal to consume after a day of traversing through West Hollywood. Of course, because it's owned by a real housewife personality, this dining spot would not be complete without its adult drink menu. The Lisa Vanderpump Cocktail is a particular hit among visitors and contains a mix of vodka, elderflower liqueur, and fresh lemon juice, garnished with a raspberry.
Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery
40 W Green St, Pasadena
Brunch Hours: Thursday - Sunday 10AM to 2PM
Located within the historic district of the tree-lined green street, this restaurant is named after the owner's maternal grandmother and draws its menu inspiration from the meals that grandma used to make. As such, you definitely will sense the feeling of nostalgia as you make your way into the space; if not, then the dishes will definitely do that (see the photo above). Their best food includes the "Cornbread Eclair" and "Lamburger Helper."

If you are looking to find a brunch spot with a menu that is hearty and filling, yet healthy and inexpensive (let's be honest - we all are) then look no further than Leo & Lily's. It all began with a pair in search of an eatery with all of the above qualities, but they realized such a place did not exist ... until it did. Located on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills, Leo & Lily's is a place that fuses European and Mediterranean flavors to create healthy, delicious, and inexpensive dishes. Their most popular menu items are avocado toast (of course) and smoked salmon benedict.
Petit Trois Le Valley

Petit Trois Le Valley brings Paris to LA with its available open-air seating and its menu's Parisian flare. Their mouth-watering Crab Cake is one of their most popular menu items, as well as their Omelette Petit Trois. So be sure not to miss out on this little taste of Paris during your time in LA.

As a self-described "hip Chinese kitchen", Yang sources sustainable and local ingredients that help to create an authentic and organic meal for its visitors. Its most popular items are Chinese Beef Noodle Soup, Smoked Salmon Hash, and Whole-Grain Scallion Pancakes. While they still do not take reservations for brunch, as they seat guests on a first come first serve basis, you can join their Yelp! Waitlist to save your spot ahead of time (same day only)!
The Nest: A Breakfast Joint

The Nest is a must-see all-American breakfast joint that serves everything from French Toast, Waffles, Short Rib Hash (a menu favorite), and Egg Sandwiches. With a cleaner cut and roomy atmosphere, this space has all the trappings of a heavy breakfast meal that is sure to satisfy the tastebuds. They also have a gift for combining lunch and breakfast items into one, such as the above steak and egg sandwich that represents all things brunch.
2128 Hillhurst Avenue Los Angeles
Brunch Hours: Weekends 9AM to 3PM
As the photo suggests, this brunch spot loves our furry friends and wants us to bring them in. Little Dom's bring the dynamic streets of New York to LA's chill atmospher, and combines them into one. The vintage wooden bar makes for a classic and comfortable spot to tell long stories, and sip on your favorite cocktail or entrée. Their popular menu items include their Breakfast Pizza and Sunny Side Up Egg. Their outdoor dining is something to be enjoyed as well, with the buzz of LA's energy and activity surrounding its guests.
While their full brunch menu is only served on weekends, they do have their brunch counter service available with more limited options on Monday-Friday from 10AM to 4PM
1717 Vine St Floor 6, Los Angeles

Drawing inspiration from the early and classic Hollywood era, this rooftop restaurant and bar, complete with a lovely garden, offers a variety of delicious brunch items for its guests and are particularly noted for providing various dietary options, such as the veggie burger. With celebrity chef Marcel Vigneron taking action behind the scenes, such a menu and atmosphere is inevitable. Particularly popular menu items include the Raw Oysters, Croque-Madame Flatbread, Banana Foster Pancakes, and Steak & Eggs with Chimichurri.
The Butcher's Daughter
1205 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice

In true LA fashion, The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, juice bar, and café, appropriately nick named the “vegetable slaughterhouse." On a pretty ironic and unorthodox premise, this space defies the stereotype of butchering by treating fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: chopping, filleting & carving them into some fine meals and juices. They take pride in the fact that their menu changes daily, and is still kept 100% vegetarian. Their Brunch Pizza is one of the best sellers and must be tried by all who visit. Brunch is served all day during their weekend hours as well.

Set within an artsy atmosphere (because LA loves its art!), the Polo Lounge is a staple of the Los Angeles eatery. Known as the epicenter of LA power dining, this spot has been frequented by locals and tourists alike, as well as various celebrities for many generations. Providing American dishes with a flare of Italian cuisine, this restaurant consistently keeps its food fresh throughout the day and delivers it that way as well. It is especially well known for its spectacular McCarthy salad.
