FX Opens a Free American Horror Story Haunted House in Hollywood This Weekend
AHS:13 takes over nya studios EAST on September 18 and 19 with a chain-reaction walkthrough of all 12 installments and a Season 13 sneak peek. Free, 18 and over, timed entry.
FX is marking the return of American Horror Story with a free, two-day immersive experience in Hollywood. AHS:13 runs Friday, September 18 from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, September 19 from 2 to 10 p.m. at nya studios EAST, 1541 N Cahuenga Blvd, ahead of the 13th installment's premiere on FX and Hulu on September 24. The roughly 20-minute experience is built as a chain reaction: guests activate each space in order to move forward, passing through scares drawn from all 12 previous installments, from the Murder House and Asylum to Freak Show, before triggering a final reveal that previews the new season.
Entry is free but requires a timed slot reserved through Eventbrite, and all guests must be 18 or older. FX warns of mature themes, theatrical effects, strobes, loud sounds, darkness and scare elements; the experience is ADA compliant.
