Back to Hogwarts Season Peaks September 1, With Universal Studios Hollywood's Run Ending the Same Day

Back to Hogwarts is the annual global celebration anchored to September 1, the date on which, at precisely 11 a.m., Hogwarts students board the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9 3/4. In 2026 the season culminates in the Back to Hogwarts Showcase, streaming live on September 1 from the official Harry Potter YouTube and TikTok channels with announcements from across the franchise.
Universal Studios Hollywood is running new Wizarding World experiences through September 1, including an encounter with the Monster Book of Monsters, Hogwarts house giveaways, themed treats and limited time park offerings, all included with a valid theme park ticket or annual pass, though blackout dates may apply. Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are also debuting a park exclusive Build-A-Bag collection by Lug.
Separately, the first film returns to cinemas worldwide to mark 25 years, with the official site directing fans to a screening finder.
