David Lynch: LA Brings the Filmmaker's Photography Home at Pace Gallery
Five of Lynch's photographic series are shown together for the first time on La Brea through December 23.

Pace Gallery's David Lynch: LA is the first presentation of the filmmaker and artist's work in his home city since his passing in 2025. The exhibition places five of Lynch's photographic series together in dialogue for the first time, with photographs made between 1979 and 2008.
Works include his portraits of Los Angeles architecture, Figures and Smoke, a series of large-scale color photographs, the Couch Series and Kits. Lynch arrived in Los Angeles in 1972 and lived here for more than fifty years, including five years living and working in the stables at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills.
The show offers a look at the visual art Lynch made alongside his celebrated films.
