Hotel Lucile has opened at 1629 Griffith Park Blvd in Silver Lake, inside the former Bethany Presbyterian Church built in 1931. Operated by Casetta, the 25-room boutique hotel began welcoming overnight guests on September 14, 2026, following an opening celebration on September 10. Rooms span six categories, from the 218 to 279 square foot Petit King to the 536 square foot Lucile Suite with a private courtyard, and come with Parachute linens, Aesop bath amenities and an Erewhon minibar.

The building served as the original home of East West Players from 1965 to 1972, and conversion efforts date to 2011 before Casetta took over the project. The hotel's restaurant, Sous Sous, serves what it describes as New French American dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m., and the property includes an underground grotto pool and a rooftop deck reserved for hotel guests. Weekday rates start in the mid 400 dollar range and weekend rates closer to 500 dollars.

There is no on-site parking; the hotel relies on valet and street parking.
