The Strokes Gave Going To Babble On Its Live Debut at Just Like Heaven in Pasadena
The indie festival returned to Brookside at the Rose Bowl on August 22 with LCD Soundsystem, Feist and more.

Just Like Heaven returned to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Saturday, August 22, 2026, with a lineup led by The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem and including Dayglow, Feist, Chromeo, The Rapture, TV Girl, Whitney, Porches, STRFKR and others across two stages, Orion and Stardust, with A Club Called Rhonda hosting a dance party throughout the day.
The Strokes closed the festival with a 16-song set that, according to reporting from NME and JamBase, included the first live performance of Going To Babble On, from the band's Rick Rubin-produced seventh album Reality Awaits, released July 24, 2026. Julian Casablancas joked from the stage, referring to LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy as the Brett Favre of indie rock.
The festival's official site now reads Thank You, Just Like Heaven, and no 2027 date has been announced. Passes for the 2026 edition ranged from 249 dollars for general admission to 699 dollars for the 21-and-over Clubhouse tier.
