KCON Afterglow Took Over Clifton's Republic as K-Pop Weekend's Official Afterparty
When the M Countdown stage went dark on August 15, four floors of Clifton's kept KCON LA going until 2 a.m.
KCON LA 2026 ran August 14 to 16, with the convention at the Los Angeles Convention Center and M Countdown concerts at Crypto.com Arena each night. On Saturday, August 15, the weekend's official afterparty, KCON Afterglow, took over Clifton's Republic on Broadway from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., produced by Elevated Look.
The night put K-pop group 82 on stage live, backed by surprise guest DJs, special guest appearances and premium cocktails across four floors of the Historic Core landmark, a 15 minute walk northeast of the arena. The 21 and over event sold three tiers: General Admission, VIP with priority entry, and Gold VIP with a reserved table.
Organizers noted that tickets could transfer or roll to a future event on request, a signal to watch for the next edition when K-pop weekend returns to Los Angeles.
