Knott's Soak City Announces Two New Family Raft Attractions for 2027
Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze arrive in 2027, and Knott's is calling one of them North America's first Family HIVE.

Knott's Soak City announced two new attractions for 2027 on July 28, timed to National Waterpark Day: Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze. Both are multi-passenger family raft rides seating up to five, and both are manufactured by ProSlide Technology.
Coral Craze uses ProSlide's Flying SAUCER element, which Knott's describes as launching families into a high-speed adventure through steeply banked turns. Kelp Kraze is billed by the park as North America's first Family HIVE attraction, twisting through tight turns and spiraling helix elements designed to make it feel like the slide is revolving around the rider. ProSlide unveiled the HIVE at IAAPA Expo in November 2024 and markets it as the world's first immersive helix water ride, with the helix wall forming a visual room that wraps riders on each revolution.
Knott's has announced only the year, not a month or an opening date. Soak City is a separately gated 15-acre water park immediately adjacent to Knott's Berry Farm, with 23 speed, tube and body slides and a 750,000-gallon Tidal Wave Bay wave pool.
