Little Luck Brings a Nobu Alum's Izakaya to the Sunset Strip
The h.wood Group's first Japanese concept opened October 19, 2026, in the former Bootsy Bellows space.

Little Luck, the first Japanese concept from The h.wood Group (Delilah, The Nice Guy), opened on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 9229 W Sunset Blvd, the former Bootsy Bellows space. Executive chef Erik Idos spent nearly a decade with Nobu, including overseeing its Hong Kong kitchens.
The shareable izakaya menu runs from sashimi, nigiri and cut rolls to charcoal robata skewers, quail karaage, Japanese egg salad on milk bread, garlic lobster noodles and a 40-ounce dry-aged wagyu tomahawk. The dining room is themed around Ophiuchus, the Serpent Bearer, with a vinyl booth against a wall of roughly 4,000 records, and two private dining rooms have built-in karaoke.
