OC Japan Fair Brings 65-Plus Japanese Food Vendors to Costa Mesa October 16 to 18
The 19th OC Japan Fair fills the OC Fair & Event Center with more than 190 vendors, 40-plus sake tastings, taiko, cosplay and a live tuna cutting show.
The OC Japan Fair returns to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa from Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18, 2026. Now in its 19th edition, the fair brings together more than 190 vendors, including 65-plus Japanese food booths and 40-plus sake tasting stations, with three performance stages.
The announced stage lineup includes taiko drumming, a cosplay contest, a kimono model show, an Oiran Dochu courtesan procession, rakugo storytelling, a sumo demonstration and a live tuna cutting show, with the full schedule published about a week before the event. New this year, according to the fair's Q&A, dogs are welcome.
Admission is $15.71 online through October 15 and $17.85 from October 16, with free entry for children 6 and under and guests 65 and over; parking is $15.
