Fairplex in Pomona hosts its 12th annual Oktoberfest on Fridays and Saturdays from October 2 through 17, 6 to 11 p.m., for guests 21 and over, with a stein bundle of admission, souvenir stein and first pour priced at 30 dollars on Fridays and 35 dollars on Saturdays. Santa Anita Park in Arcadia runs its Oktoberfest trackside on October 10 and 11 and October 17 and 18, with general admission at 28.09 dollars through September 18 and 40.69 dollars after, including eight beer tastings, a commemorative cup, admission with parking and a 5 dollar betting voucher.

The Penmar in Venice holds an all-ages Oktoberfest on Friday, September 25 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. with bratwurst, sauerkraut and Paulaner beers, with children 2 and under free. Outside the county, Old World in Huntington Beach runs Oktoberfest Wednesday through Sunday through November 8, with admission ranging from free to 35 dollars depending on the night and Friday and Saturday evenings restricted to 21 and over, and Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest runs weekends through November 14, with Saturday sessions from 1 to 6 p.m., at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center.
