You Can Book a Day at the Hollywood Roosevelt's Hockney-Painted Tropicana Pool
Day passes start at 56 dollars, but a guaranteed lounger costs more and cabanas are guests only.

The Tropicana Pool at the Hollywood Roosevelt, whose bottom was painted by David Hockney, is open to non hotel guests year round through day passes and lounger reservations booked via ResortPass. The hotel states plainly on its own pool page that guests do not have to stay to swim.
Day passes start at 56 dollars per person with fees included and cover pool access, towel service, ordering from the full poolside food and bar menus, complimentary Wi-Fi and discounted valet parking with validation, subject to same day availability. Food and drinks are purchased separately.
A lounger reservation starts at 90 dollars per day and guarantees a lounger with umbrella and towel setup, bookable up to 30 days in advance, with lounge seating for two from 157 dollars. Both paid access options are restricted to guests aged 21 and over. Cabanas are reserved for overnight hotel guests and are not available to day pass holders.
