The Witch's Cottage Turned NoHo's Old Federal Bar Into a Fantasy Forest
The North Hollywood cafe, bar and tabletop RPG venue runs Tuesday through Sunday with a service gap between 4 and 5 p.m.
The Witch's Cottage opened in early 2026 in the old bank building at Lankershim Boulevard and Weddington Street in the NoHo Arts District, the space that formerly housed The Federal Bar, transformed into a hand painted fantasy forest with tree trunk covered pillars and murals.
The venue operates as a cafe and bakery, a restaurant and bar, and an upstairs performance and event space, and it advertises tabletop RPG gaming, with programming details posted as they become available. The menu spans pastries, herbal teas and a changing cocktail list; prices vary, so check the current menus.
The founders describe the space as witchy, artsy and welcoming to LGBTQ and neurodivergent guests. Walk ins are welcome and reservations are recommended on weekends through SevenRooms.
