This is every arcade we could find in Los Angeles County: 64 ranked venues, from Catalina to Palmdale and Santa Monica to Pomona, plus 16 more places with a few games on the side. We checked every venue in October 2026, and where hours are thin, the entry says so.
How we score. The LA Today score is the average of each venue's Google and Yelp ratings, both out of 5. Ties go to the higher Google score. Brand-new venues can score high on a small number of reviews, and we flag those in the entry.

By combined Google and Yelp score, Y2Kade Classic Arcade in Bellflower ranks first with a perfect 5.00, followed by Pinbug in Pomona, Cali Claw Arcade on Sawtelle, Claw Stars in Hollywood and Moon Age VR in Boyle Heights. Y2Kade opened in May 2026, so its score rests on fewer reviews than most.
We average each venue's Google rating and Yelp rating, both out of 5, into one number. When two venues tie, the one with the higher Google score ranks first.
Yes. Pay-for-time free play is back: Neon Retro Arcade in Pasadena, Pinbug in Pomona, Lost Levels in Claremont, 2nd Loop in Torrance and Y2Kade in Bellflower all charge for time or entry instead of per game.
The arcade bars: The Paradox in Pomona, Walt's Bar in Eagle Rock, The Goldfish in Highland Park, EightyTwo in the Arts District and Barcade in Highland Park. Our barcades guide covers the adults-only scene in more depth.
Cali Claw Arcade on Sawtelle and Claw Stars in Hollywood score highest, with Infinity Claws in Rowland Heights, Coco Claw in Downey and Wawa Claw in Gardena close behind. The South Bay and San Gabriel Valley have the most.
iPlay Arcades in Montrose, Jubiland Play in North Hollywood, Playland Arcade on the Santa Monica Pier and the Fun Factory arcades are built for families. Neon Retro and Pinbug are all ages too, and good for teaching kids the classics.
Our pick for a first visit: Pinbug in Pomona for pinball and Neon Retro Arcade in Pasadena for classic cabinets. Both are free play once you are in, so one ticket covers the whole session.
Best night out: EightyTwo in the Arts District, still the flagship barcade, with Walt's Bar in Eagle Rock for a quieter pinball night.
Best with kids: iPlay Arcades in Montrose, then a day on the pier at Playland Arcade. If the night ends with a microphone, our karaoke guide picks up where this one stops.
